Gilbert Wergowske, M.D., FACP, FGSA
Gilbert Wergowske, MD is an internal medicine specialist in Vallejo, CA and has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. After achieving his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH , Dr. Wergowske then went on to complete his medical training at Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. He followed that with an internship at South Baltimore General Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Wergowske then went on to complete this Internal Medicine Residency program at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH followed by his Fellowship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii.
During Dr. Wergowske’s time in Hawaii he served as Medical Director and Chief of Medical Services at John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He then went on to work as Medical Director at Mills-Peninsula Health Services in San Carlos, CA before going on to serve the community as a primary care physician in Benicia for over a decade. Dr. Wergowske has continuously served as an internist at many hospitals including Sutter Solano Medical Center.
Dr. Wergowske’s involvement in literature is widespread with contributions in various medical and scientific publications. He is also a retired Colonel for the United States Air Force Reserve Medical Corps and is committed to lifelong learning through education, patient care, and community involvement.

Saw Sein, MD, AAFP
Dr. Sein grew up in Southeastern Asia where she attained her medical degree from the University of Medicine in Mandalay, Myanmar in 2005. After graduating, she practiced medicine for 3 years in Myanmar before arriving in the U.S. She completed a residency family medicine program at NYU/Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY before moving to California. She began her career here at Associated Family Physicians in August of 2017 and has been well received by her patients.
When not in the office, Saw lives in the East Bay with her husband, Rimmy. She loves to hike and enjoys traveling to all parts of the world.
